Justified/just word study

This is an important word to study in the Bible the reason being it is misunderstood by most Christians.

So, as we look at this word, we need to see that there are some conditional aspects concerning this word for example.

(Gal 2:16 KJV)  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Application = a person that is justified upon the condition of a person placing their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and not by the works of the Old Testament laws.

Then we see in (Mat 12:37 KJV) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The application of this verse shows that a person’s words will also be a condition in their justification on judgment day.

(Jas 2:21 KJV)  Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? See all 3 verses for the application.

(Jas 2:24 KJV)  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

(Jas 2:25 KJV)  Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

The application of this verse shows that a person that is justified has the condition of works in their life, not to be saved but to show that they have the proof of real saving faith.

(Heb 10:38 KJV)  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

The application of this verse is the person that is justified will live a life of faith.
